Daiana Feuer
&
Bloody Death Skull
From ANDRAS JONES: As we come to the close of this Pop Oracle session with BLOODY DEATH SKULL it’s time for Daiana Feuer to face the synchronistic mirror of her own music with a question about ghosts and immortality. I said at the beginning of this episode that I was, at that point, mostly ignorant of Bloody Death Skull’s music. She was recommended by previous Radio8Ball guest Bart Davenport and that was good enough for me. I liked that I was initially put off by the name. It reminded me of how I felt the first time I saw The Sex Pistols on the t-shirt of a kid in my 7th grade class. Also I have a weakness for dirty smart songwriters who play the ukelele as evidenced by the many times we had Olympia songwriter Jenny Jenkins on the show in the northwest. I really appreciated the very hip folks Daiana invited (Elvin Estela, Andy Hermann & Kimi Recor) to be on the show, and the way she engaged with the esoteric guests I invited (Theresa Bullard, Cynthia Cavalli & Veronica Monet). It’s worth noting that none of these participants heard the other guest’s questions before asking their own which makes the themes that emerged throughout the episode that much more impressive. On the day this is released (01/11/18) Daiana will be one of our “surprise guests” joining several other Radio8Ball musical guests for a night of music and synchronicity at The Cinema Bar in Culver City. COMING UP NEXT: Our episode from 12/16/17 featuring ELENI MANDELL with Dino Stamatopoulos, Chuck E. Weiss, Madison Cunningham, John Gold, Leslie Steven & Ron Lynch
