POP ORACLE Song of The Day (June 8, 2019): SYNCHRONISTIC DUOLOGUE “Repetition is Necessary”
Emerald Isle
Off the California coast maybe 47 miles there’s a place to rest your bones think it’s called it’s called the Emerald Isle
Was the last day of my trip dragged my suitcase through the sand
Though I thought I’d missed the boat
It was all sort of the plan.
Wait just a minute right before my eyes l saw a jewel coming out of the sea
Yeh she just kind of shimmered with those emerald eyes
Yeah it was love from the opening scene
The kind of girl that you’d never believed
Coz it was like the waves that she moved the way that she grooves like a palm tree in a cool
breeze and if I had of know by tomorrow morning from her love o would never be free / from her Love I don’t want to be free.
As the Stars came out to play in a rose sangria sky – right beside the ocean blue such a tropical delight
There’s a place you’d like to go all the locals steered us right if you want to fall in love
Right here on the Emerald Isle
Yeh you can dance with the others singing all night long all the karaoke patrons agree as there’s a bar at the back of the El
Galleon where the moon light reflects
from the Sea. It’s a place that you won’t wanna leave.
When she smiled I felt a million stars ignite inside of me – I kissed her lips was I hallucinating or was it a dream –
Then we danced into the night – with our karaoke drive – and I was lost in her emerald eyes
