From ANDRAS JONES: VELVET STARLINGS are CHRISTIAN GISBORNE, RONI WIEDEMAN & MICHAEL WHITTEMORE. The week they joined us for their Pop Oracle session they were down from their home in Chico, California to play some shows in LA. The week this is coming out they are on tour in the UK. These impossibly young, incredibly talented rockers are literally going places and I am excited to witness their trajectory. It’s this and our shared love of The Who’s “Lifehouse” that inspired me to ask my question about balancing the “purity with the bullshit”.
