Andras Jones
&
Joe Bourdet
From ANDRAS JONES: JOE BOURDET is a cool cat and our sessions with him result in a sweet batch of cultural rabbit holes to explore. I start things off with an Oscar inspired question. I KNOW everyone hates Green Book, but they are wrong. Green Book isn’t a bad movie. It’s certainly not evil. It’s just not really the BEST PICTURE, which is true of most best picture Oscar winners. I’m proud of Viggo for always pushing boundaries, mostly his own, and inviting us to take the ride. His directorial debut, which he’s working on now, is about alzheimers, which is the condition that laid my own father low, as it did Viggo’s. I’m not looking forward to his film, but only because it means that much to me. I know I’m not talking that much about Patricia Arquette but that’s simply because she leaves me speechless.

Songbird Revisited
My Songbird, my sweet songbird,
what shall we play today?
You find me, in sweet peace and time,
and welcome me to stay
You come to my window, and sing for me
And oh to touch you, but I’d better
just leave you be
Though I know you’re really not mine
I will always think of you this way
Because everybody loves my songbird,
and the song she plays
