The First Day of Spring ’06 (KAOS March 21, 2006)
From ANDRAS JONES: Today’s visit to the Radio8Vault takes us back to the first day of spring in 2006. It’s a leisurely synchronistic jaunt that features what I believe is the first appearance of I SEE HAWKS IN LA on Radio8Ball. This band caught my attention because of PAUL LACQUES’ name on the record. His other band DOUBLE NAUGHT SPY CAR have provided the bed music for Radio8Ball since we started and, many years later, I See Hawks In LA would be the musical guests on one of our finest episodes. This episode featured the participation of our short-lived and super insightful co-host Ren. I don’t remember her last name and I don’t know where she’s gone to but if you’re out there listening somewhere you are remembered fondly.
