From ANDRAS JONES: WILLIE WISELY rarely made it to Olympia, a town he nicknamed “the nexus of dour”, but when he did he was on Radio8Ball. Wisely is originally from Minneapolis but I met him in LA where we struck up a collaboration that yielded the albums, “The Darkest Day of The Year” from Andy Dick, “Total Fucking Bullshit” from Shmushkin, and the Wisely songs “Drink Up”, “Joke” and “Vanilla”. For this session we were joined on the line by ANDY DICK whose foul mouthed shenanigans might have amounted to a pre-text for the enemies of Radio8Ball at KAOS to get rid of us (if they had listened to the show). Luckily Andy’s drunken profanity slipped by unnoticed at the time but if anyone from the FCC is checking this out and wants to hold the station accountable for this flagrant violation of broadcasting standards they are certainly free to use this podcast as evidence.
