From ANDRAS JONES: When MARVIN ETZIONI gave me his list of potential guests for his show I was pleased to see the name MARC PLATT but not for the reasons I was ultimately glad he was on the show. It’s factor of our times that we may think we know someone from the world of social media only to find that we were actually humanly connected in the real world long before the internet existed (and before our faces fell and our bellies grew). This was the case with Marc. I thought I knew him because of our debates about politics during the 2016 primaries (I was right and he was wrong and I’m sure he feels the same way) but it turns out we knew each other from Previous days in Hollywood when we were both a part of the Highland Grounds music scene in the late 80’s and early 90’s. To heck with politics. Let’s reminisce about a time when we were all going to be rock stars.
