This studio is owned and operated by our next guest JOHN VANDERSLICE. John is an accomplished and critically acclaimed recording artist in his own right and, as evidenced by this session, a major pop nerd with a fetish for vintage gear and dreams of escape from what, to me, looks like a pretty idyllic life in the bay area. I’m not sure but he and I may be engaged. I could do a lot worse.
