Radio8Ball has been broadcasting on KAOS 89.3 FM since August of 1998 when it debuted as a Thursday late night show with Andras Jones and co-host Jeff Stern. After Stern moved to Boston to pursue his education as a filmmaker Andras continued with Radio8Ball, at first as a day-time fill-in and eventually as a prime time Tuesday night show.

In July of 2008, after 10 years on the air, KAOS cancelled Radio8Ball. This came as a suprise to the host and the audience.
