Radio8Ball is what it is. It is from this “is-ness” that The Pop Oracle derives whatever power it possesses. For almost two decades I have chosen to keep the integrity of this format while exploring and expanding its boundaries of expression.

We’ve done it on the radio, onstage, in classrooms, rock clubs, coffeehouses, in private sessions, on the web, in a box, with a fox. You get it. We’ve tested this format with audiences and celebrities and rock stars and teachers and authors and visionaries and porn stars and mostly, on ourselves.

If Radio8Ball is, as I have claimed, calisthenics for the part of our mind that experiences synchronicity, then I can honestly say that I have been practicing this form of mental yoga for 17 years. It’s all sync all the time in my head and that’s what allows me to continue in spite of anything and everything.

In the course of developing Radio8Ball I have been celebrated and slandered, loved and ignored, and mostly, I’ve survived and kept The Pop Oracle as sacred as possible, within the profanity of its industry. And for all the pitfalls and obstacles, the synchronicities have never ever wavered. Neither has the music. My peers and guests on the show fill my world with the most delicious art, and with The Pop Oracle as an ever present companion, my impoverished life is so rich it hurts sometimes.
