Choo Choo La Rouge are a band from Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Here they invoke the power of The Chariot.

From “Accidental Initiations: In The Kabbalistic Tree of Olympia” by Andras Jones:

More and more I have been getting the suspicion that synchronicity is a vehicle for time travel or,
as Choo Choo La Rouge sing in their song “Say It Twice”
off their self-released CD
“You’re
Like a Rocket – Always Taking Off With People In Your Head”
“It’s a nice device to repeat yourself in”.

  1. Q: January 18, 2014 – Working with Chris Kirk on R8B.com. Inspiration?

Interpretation:Inspiration received! This project is a sacred vehicle on several levels. Also, couldn’t help but think of Cambridge, Massachusetts where I went to high school, and had some of my best friendships. Chris, or “Goose”, as we call him is a good friend who recently returned home, to Olympia, after being away (locked up) for several years. Also, he always has to tell me everything twice (“At least!, he might say) when it comes to navigating the digital realm, something he’s been helping me do since the late 90’s when I put out what I believe is one of the first MP3’s “The Webpage of Dorian-Gray” (released on floppy disc in ’99). In fact, Chris came up for the artwork for the tour when I met and played with Choo Choo La Rouge in Cambridge in early September 2001. So that’s the sync for me. Gotta get me some coffee and get to work. Doesn’t the whole vibe of the song just say, “Make it happen!”?

  2. Today’s Pop Oracle song of the day (February 5th, 2015) captures the sense of excitement and possibility I feel today with the release of my first new Radio8Ball broadcast in a long time, with Jimmy Webb. Almost every line applies to my state of mind right now.

I quote Choo Choo La Rouge in my book “Accidental Initiations”…

“It’s a nice device to repeat yourself in”.

    Such a great line!

It could describe Radio8Ball or my fast, or the songs that inspired Jimmy’s stories that have me feeling so alive today.

I really do feel like this latest R8B episode with Jimmy Webb is a kind of vehicle. I am transported by it. I hope you are too.
